the identity of the noctamrun night bus is based on the average bpm (beats per minute) of the music styles played in the city’s nightclubs.

each style of music is represented by shapes placed on a grid of 18 squares. for example: rock music, approx. 120bpm = 12 coloured shapes.

these shapes can then be combined to create different patterns.
